I've lived in the USA for about 2 years (1999-2001) in Tallahassee, Florida, which is the captital of Florida state.
During the Bush/Gore elections you could see some of Tallahassee on the news. Tallahassee is located in the northernpart of Florida, but the climate is still tropical.
The reason I had come to the USA was an internship at Florida State University (FSU) in the field of Biochemistry. After my internship, my professor offered me a job to continue my research.
